However, in version 2.48, the one that comes with TexLive 2007, it does print a warning that the support for TrueType outlines is still experimental.  In any event, I'll have to write an addendum about it.</description>

		<description>Btw, support for TrueType has been present in otftotfm since 2.40, but there was a bug that made -a fail to copy the ttf unless you also used --force. That's been fixed in 2.70.

		<description>You're probably using some outdated version of otftotfm. I have no trouble installing a TrueType font automgically using " otftotfm -a" from version 2.70 of lcdf-typetools onwards. This will install the ttf and some tfm and enc files automatically. dvips will produce PK fonts though.</description>
